The Magical Dream a Pillow
One cozy evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, a young girl with curly brown hair sat cross-legged on her bed. She wore pink pajamas decorated with little stars. Her grandmother entered the room, carrying a beautifully embroidered pillow with golden threads. “This pillow is special,” her grandmother said softly. “When you sleep on it, it shows you dream a pillow dreams—but only if you’ve been kind and well-mannered.”
The First Dream
That night, the girl rested her head on the pillow. Instantly, she found herself in a shimmering forest, where animals wore tiny clothes and spoke kindly to one another. A fox in a green waistcoat greeted her. “Welcome to the Dreamland. Only those with good manners can stay,” he said with a polite bow.
The Tea Party Lesson
As the girl walked deeper into the forest, she found a round table surrounded by talking animals. A bunny in a frilly blue dress poured tea, while a bear in a striped scarf served cookies. “Join us,” the bunny said kindly. “But remember, good manners are the key to enjoying this tea party!” The girl smiled and said, “Thank you,” before sitting down politely.
The Rude Crow
Suddenly, a crow with ruffled feathers swooped in. “Give me cookies!” it squawked rudely. The bunny and bear frowned. “You must ask nicely,” the bunny said gently. The crow huffed and flew away, leaving the girl to think about how important it is to speak kindly.
Helping the Lost Mouse
After the tea party, the girl continued her dream journey. She came across a tiny mouse with a red hat, looking lost. “Can you help me find my way home?” the mouse asked shyly. The girl knelt down and said, “Of course, I’d be happy to help!” Together, they walked along a glittering path until they reached a cozy mouse hole.
The Gratitude Bridge
On her way back, the girl encountered a sparkling bridge guarded by a wise owl in a golden robe. “Only those who say thank you may cross,” the owl hooted. The girl thought about all the kindness she had received in Dreamland and said, “Thank you for guiding me!” The owl smiled and let her cross.
Waking Up with a Dream a Pillow Lesson
The next morning, the girl woke up smiling. She hugged the pillow tightly. “Grandma,” she said at breakfast, “I learned that being kind and polite makes everything better!” Her grandmother smiled warmly. “That’s the magic of good manners—they make every dream and every day more beautiful.”
